Trial Exhibits are a staple in most court cases today. We offer the following products and services.
At John Afrides Photography we have the ability to enlarge key medical records. It has been our experience that images 30”x40” or larger provides a jury visual analysis of expert testimony which can later be useful at deliberation and summation as well as creating an interactive atmosphere. Small, individual photocopies of these records, handed to an expert or juror, just isn’t as effective or professional on presentation and may be difficult to read, thereby substantially decreasing the desired impact of your evidence.
The Process: Your documents are digitized at high resolution capturing and enhancing even the faintest text. Clarity is then enhanced for optimum output. All document enlargements are mounted on foam board for rigidity. Distractions, such as hole punches, staple holes and other defects are removed. Images are straightened and enlarged to maximum coverage on the “standard” 30”x40” exhibit.
Trying to make a special point? Have excerpts highlighted, called out and enlarged for a minimal additional charge or create a translation of the highlighted area.
X-rays, CT Scans, MRI’s, dental films; we provide a full range of film reproduction services. Whether you need simple x-ray duplications or high resolution digital MRI enlargements, we cover the full gamut of radiologic trial exhibit production. At John Afrides Photography, our state-of-the-art proprietary scan technology is used by major art museums for accurate image archival and reproduction. In turn, this enables us to digitize your films at high resolutions capturing subtle nuances not obtainable through normal scan technology. Your film is then able to be reproduced in a multitude of poster sizes, keeping your budget in mind, mounted and laminated for durability. Our prints are produced by the latest high-end II color printers at resolutions up to 2880 dpi!
If you want something that really focuses on a specific area of injury or repair, we can go a step further and do side-by-side comparisons of pre-op and post-op films. We can also “call-out” or colorize specific injuries for maximum impact.
Photographs are frequently enlarged as exhibits. Sizing is up to you. The most common size is 30” x 40”, mounted and laminated for durability. Larger sizes are available. We take your photographs, intra-operative photos, pathology slides, laser copies, snapshots, polaroids, e-mailed images, and more and turn them into a valuable tool for your courtroom presentation. All work is done in-house ensuring the safety and confidentiality of your evidence.
